Knob Generator
Load XPAD Config
Load a saved xpad-layout.json, or read the layout straight off a
connected XPAD. Every regular keycap in the config is rendered into the
preview at its matrix position. (Knob, if present, is skipped.)

Global Settings
Legends come from the config. These apply to every keycap.
Keycap Shape
Outer Size (square edge / circle Ø / hex corner-to-corner) 18.25 mm
Standard size is 18.25 mm. Going larger spreads the keycaps apart on the plate to avoid overlap.
Stem Cross Width (fit) 1.20 mm
Top Thickness 1.5 mm
Single-char Text Size (≤2 chars) 8.0 mm
Multi-char Text Size (≥3 chars) 5.0 mm

Legend Appearance
Engraving look of text & symbol legends.
Font
Engraving Depth 0.8 mm
Stroke Width (text & basic shapes) 0.30 mm
Symbol Size (shapes & icons) 12.0 mm
Sizes above 10 mm are mainly for oversized keycaps; 8 mm is recommended for standard keycaps.
